2 - The BEST Free Webhosting plan ever!
Before I say anything, please note that I am NOT affiliated with byethost.
-with a choice of FREE packages including up to 30 GB traffic, 250 MB
webspace, 10 MySQL, unlimited sub domains (=O!) and PHP support,

the only negative part about the hosting plan is that they place a couple ad
banners up top. BUT you can remove it! with a simple bit of javascript, which
i will provide to you if you leave a comment here with your site address. if its
some half-assed porn site or illegal download site then im NOT helping you,
go ahead make one but live with the ads up top. I thoroughly checked the
FAQ, policies, etc. and there is no rule with removing the ads, a first with
free hosting.
Ive had my band's site hosted with them for a while now, and with 30GB
traffic, all my fans can download my mp3s no problem. I've only had one
downtime (about half an hour) in the past year, which is pretty damn
amazing.

[Look out for: bunnyx's dAclient - i know that there are a couple 3rd party
programs out there, but this covers a couple missing aspects. It sits in your
system tray and notifies you of any new messages (like MSN!), allows you to
post to your journal without having to open your browser, to preview recent
deviations and to submit your own ones. It's still in progress (some aspects
already work) and I may need permission from the leaders of the site]
